Built to Last
At Duncan & Grove, we believe that natural playground equipment should be built to withstand the test of time. That’s why we design and manufacture the most durable timber playground equipment available — and back it with some of the longest warranties in the industry.
We use FSC-certified hardwoods and high-grade stainless and galvanized steel components to ensure every piece of our equipment lasts decades — even in demanding outdoor environments. Warranty Terms & Conditions
At Duncan & Grove, we stand behind the quality and durability of our playground equipment. Our warranty covers structural failure due to corrosion, deterioration, rot, or workmanship — with some of the longest guarantees available in the industry. Please read the following terms carefully:
1. Warranty Coverage
This warranty applies to Duncan & Grove products based on the timeframes outlined for each material type. The warranty begins from the date of delivery.
To make a claim, customers must:
- Present an original sales receipt
- Provide documented records of routine inspections and maintenance
2. Conditions of Validity
The warranty is only valid if:
- Products are installed according to Duncan & Grove’s official installation instructions
- Routine maintenance and inspections are performed per our maintenance guide
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Vandalism, negligence, abuse, or abnormal use
- Cosmetic issues (e.g. surface corrosion, discolouration, or natural timber changes over time)
- Damage from extraordinary weather or acts of God
3. Limitations in Coastal or Chlorinated Environments
This warranty does not apply to:
- Products in direct contact with chlorinated or saltwater
- Products within 200 meters of the coast (warranty against corrosion is halved in these areas)
4. Scope of Responsibility
Our liability is limited to repair or replacement of defective materials, as determined by Duncan & Grove. Repaired or replaced parts remain under warranty for the remainder of the original warranty period.
Customers are responsible for:
- Returning any defective parts (if requested)
- All costs related to service, transport, and parts after the warranty expires
5. Claims Process
- Duncan & Grove reserves the right to accept or reject any claim (in full or part)
- Products may not be returned without prior written approval
- If accepted, we will cover transportation costs for the return — provided our return instructions are followed
6. Limitation of Liability
Duncan & Grove is not liable for:
- Consequential or incidental damages (e.g. labor, loss of profits)
- Products incorporated into other systems or structures
If repairs or replacements fail after multiple attempts, we may choose to accept return of the product and refund the original purchase price, as the customer’s sole and exclusive remedy.
