OVERVIEW
Claremont Park was designed in collaboration with Erect Architecture, with the natural play equipment inspired by the leaf forms of the trees within the area.
The playground promotes a range of different play types for all abilities. A sculpted concrete water and sand play area consisting of troughs and sluice gates encourages children to be creative and improve motor skills. There is also a play hut and musical chimes for imaginative play, and large climbing frames for the more challenging and risky play opportunities.
The bespoke flotsam towers are linked together with bridges and nets, and feature sloping platforms, rope matrixes, and a 4m spiral tube slide to create an active and adventurous environment.
Special consideration was required in planning and installation due to some of the play equipment being positioned in root protection areas.
Other play equipment from our catalogue were selected by Erect including; swings, springers, a standing seesaw, wide slides, and log scrambles and steps on paths to provide enjoyment throughout the playspace.
