Drapers Field playground was the first ‘Stitching the Fringe’ project integrating new Olympic developments into the surrounding existing communities, located in Leyton, London.
Kinnear Architecture designed this unique play space that allows play to flow over a wide and ranging landscape, encouraging collaborative and inter-generational playfulness in the urban realm.
Kinnear provided conceptual designs, construction drawings, and a series of connection details engineered by Webb Yates. Duncan & Grove used these to build the robinia and oak playground equipment.
