Drapers Field Recreation Ground, in Leyton, was redeveloped as part of the Olympic Legacy project. The design made use of topography and planting to create a rolling alpine landscape with large timber playground equipment dotted throughout.
The playground equipment consisted of cantilever swings, M frame swings, giant seesaws, slides, balance and stepping logs, climbing trees, climbing nets, trampolines and slides. It was all made out of large sections of green oak and robinia.
The end product is an imaginative playground which gives a good variety of play opportunity for children of different ages. It has a natural feel as recommended by Play England.
We can provide a mix of catalogue playground equipment and bespoke playground equipment to create a beautiful and unique play space.
