Chisenhale Primary School

With limited space and increasing numbers of children the school needed to make the most of their space. Asif Khan Architects designed this stilted structure. The main frame is manufactured from steel with timber cladding.

To increase the play value wire reinforced nets and stainless steel slides were added. A large mound was created to allow access with climbing holds and climbing ropes aiding access up it’s slope.

The end result is a unique and attractive school playground.
